First I would take a vacuum cleaner with the brush attachment and gently brush away any dust you can. This is a great way to clean old lamps safely. You can probably do the repair with bonding web from the fabric store. Cut it to fit and iron it on and its done. It's white and would likely be un-noticable and would seal it right up. Keep it original! |
