Joined: Aug 10, 2004 Posts: 9222	B bigtikidude Posted posted on Mon, Jan 7, 2008 1:32 PM There is usually at least 1 surf show a month at the Purple Orchid. a few months back the Martini Kings played there with Burlesque Dancers. mmmmmmmm nice. quick review of the show. the place was packed all night and it was a stellar show. The Reventlos did alot of surf and pre surf covers sans Drummer. was really cool to see them do surf. Jeff Utterback back on Drums with the Boardwalkers was stellar, he is soooo good. and my Buddy JonPaul did a very rocking good debut on bass with the Boardwalkers. and The Insects were on fire as usual.
