After seeing the image on Capitol inner sleeves for years, I FINALLY found a copy of this album. I was expecting the worst, because no one ever talks about it, and assumed it would be schlock. I've only done some needle drops so far, but it seems to be a really nice album, along the lines of, say, Ports of Pleasure, Caribbean Moonlight and Space Escapade. Lots of orchestral color and interesting countermelodies. Does anyone else have this one, and if so, what are your thoughts? |
