I'm with everyone else here in personally disagreeing with her objections, but the right of free association means people are allowed to join together to create things like owner's associations with rules that set the tone of their community, and use peaceful arbitration to settle disputes regarding those rules. This sort of freedom allows for true diversity across society and protects us from the sort of nativist fascism implied in the comment above.
