Seeing your canoe project gave me the final kick in the ass I needed to start on one. I saw one of the many types of OA ones at Tiki Terrace a couple years ago and told myself I was going to make one similar in my own style. Starting on them now, I've kind of become obsessed with them even though I was going to take breaks in between steps. Finished the tikis up today... Lots more to do... the canoes need to be carved and then the other detail like spears and oars... I'll see if I can stretch the project into Wednesday... :wink:
