I

One of my goals (seriously) is to go to Disneyland/DisneyWorld right when they open, run to the the Its a Small World Ride, and then ride that attraction over and over until the park closes.

Everyone says how you can't get the 'It's a Small World' song out of your head, and I wonder how long this would take if you were exposed to the song and visual stimulae for many, many hours.

I also wonder what the employees reaction would be, to see the same guy getting on the ride over and over and over. It might be fun, to take notes of the different people who share your boat throughout the day, to see how their mood changes throughout the day. How would my mood change during the day? Would I be frowning at the end of the day, or have a wide smiling grin like all of the worldly kids featured in the attraction.

I almost did this on a recent Florida work trip - but it was during the winter months, and the park had limited hours that day. If I do this, it is going to be during one of those days when they have really long hours. I should be at Disneyland next week - the park opens at 8am and closes at 1:00 am! That is 17 straight hours!

It's a Small World, and don't you forget it.
