I've never found a mug - or any tiki collectible, for that matter - at a thrift store. After about a dozen fruitless trips, I've quit trying. Central Texas is a net importer of tiki collectibles. Most of the vintage stores here get their wares from out of state and haul them to vintage-starved Austin. There aren't any locals donating big caches of vintage mugs, etc. to charity. |
