1950s / Original Places and Tiki Bars of California - General Tiki

I'm taking a much-needed getaway back in time, preferably the 1950s, by myself Mon-tues and want to hit all or many of the great retro spots in CA, tiki clubs as well as any old relics from the past still with us... Would greatly appreicate any and all suggestions... Drive ins (eg Pinks, etc.), diners, music venues (eg Cocunut Grove, El Monte Legion Stadium), furniture stores of the 50s, etc. ... preferably original places and not remakes like Ed Debevniks, but that's ok too.
