They promise to keep the Tiki theme alive and actually add to it. They told my friend that the name Sam's has a tarnished reputation in the local area. They do promise to pay great respect to Sam's history and it's very long existence serving the coastal communities. They are talking about a "Sam's Wall of Fame" where they will put up pictures of the past and even pictures that people bring in. Farewell Sam, Aloha Kona.
