In 2006 I fist travelled to the USA and attended my first Tiki Oasis, I travelled alone but had some contacts and the only person I had actually met was Shag. 99% of people were super cool though i was accused of putting on a fake Australian accent once... you may not be so lucky because nobody likes poms(kidding) I would be happy to introduce you to the folks I know and can give you some tips on backpacking in Sandiego and LA as I have done it twice before this trip, you will have a blast (and a hangover) thats for sure..
