although skulls are often used in tribal type artwork..

the skulls in this

are more of a day of the dead style...

and even though I like Oingo Boingo just fine..

This would be imagery more often accepted as pop culture tiki... simply because of the style of music and the era it was popularized.

(notice the shrunken head)
