To me, if someone liked U2 before they were mainstream, then CONTINUED to listen to them even when they became popular instead of going 'duuude, they sold out and they suck', well, they have balls and are cool. That's my definition of the word. Cool = not caring what's cool. P.S. I think paint by numbers wildlife is cool, too! P.P.S. I'm not a U2 fan. It was just a handy analogy.
