As Tipsy said above, she told me that due to an illness in the family, the tiki auction had been moved to the 23rd. She also said that there will be two rings going but that all of the tiki stuff will be in one ring. Some of the tiki stuff will still be installed as it was because it shows better that way (think posts with thatch). I am having mixed feelings about the date change because I too was counting on everyone being at the Hukilau...visions of $20 tiki's. The upside is that things worked out that I can now go to my first (and last) Hukilau. That is also the downside as I will be poorer and there will be more competition. On a side note, maybe we should try to connect the TCers who are going to the auction the night before at a local hotel and attempt to make each other too hung-over to show up at the auction.
