Well I'm guess I'm not a new member in the sense that I signed up back in 2002...but I never got involved too much and recently came back "online" a few weeks ago and only today stumbled across this thread, so it feels new to me! At any rate, my name is Nick and I live in Northern California (within driving distance of Forbidden Island and Trader Vics...thank God!). I caught the Tiki bug like a lot of folks...the Tiki Room at Disneyland. Since then I've always been drawn to it. Thank goodness I met the perfect woman who shares the interest! At any rate, this forum is fantastic and I look forward to taking a more active part in the discussions.....maybe even embark on a carving project or two! Mahalo!
