Somewhere between visiting the "Enchanted Tiki Room" at Disneyland, occassional special birthday dinners at Trader Vic's and spending summers in Hawaii with my retired grandparents, I fell in love with Tiki. I had no idea until recently that Tiki had been revived or had a following. I thought most people viewed it as a tacky fad from a bygone era.
