I think this is a Hoax. Why is there "Advertising Archive" listed as a credit for the image, which by the way, is the cover for the a 1957 edition of the British "John Bull" magazine? I could find absolutely no evidence a "Housekeeping Monthly" magazine ever existed. The qualities listed are outrageous even for the 1950's: "Don't complain if he is late home for dinner or even stays out all night." Give me a break! |
