Breakfast not big here in Fort Lauderdale, as we usaully don't wake up till noon...

Try:

"The Floridan" historic breakfast place to see and be seen...
There's a great cuban joint on andrews avenue with killer "Mezclado" and "Juevos Rancheros"...
There's also "Panera Bread" & "Offerdahls" both on Federal... both within a mile of Mai Kai...

For Sunday morining try:

CITY LINK'S BEST PLACE FOR SUNDAY BRUNCH
Blue Moon Fish Company

This lovely, indoor-outdoor, art-deco-inspired eatery alongside the Intracoastal serves fine food every day of the week, but the all-you-can-eat Sunday brunch ($24.95) is its biggest bargain. The meal begins with a Bloody Mary, champagne or a mimosa. Then, you dive into a dizzying array of offerings: peel-and-eat shrimp, oysters, clams, garlic mussels, fruit, salads, salmon, crab cakes, seafood gumbo, mahi mahi, stuffed chicken and meat loaf. Top the meal off with crème brûlée, strawberry shortcake, a double-chocolate torte or any of a host of French pastries.
