Thanks a lot for all the nice things y'all say...
unlike Ernie....
sigh.......
if any artist is doing this just for the $$$
(and not the joy of creating and investigating and sharing...)
then they are fools!
hewey-i think it's the motif around the eyes and the folksy colors that bring that to mind...
did Clysdalle put you up to that question? :)
i have some clearer Guardians of the plumeria shots below.... crispier and juicier!

started carving his wooden shield

little more developing of the prow..

also the loincloth and some scroll of hidden knowledge

and a lil bit on the hair and face...

Slow and steady wins the race on this one!
