Wow,

The weekend went by way too fast! We had a great time and were able to do lots of cool things.

Trader Dick's is great until the music in the dance area begins bumping in the evening. Way too much eighties pop (Theme from Ghostbusters and Electric Avenue by Eddie Grant) spoiled the ambiance and the crowds of casino zombies can ruin the mood.

We found the Peppermill Casino and resort to be more to our liking. The Fish Bar served up some delicious drinks in tiki mugs as well at this joint. The Fish Bar has a huge aquarium on the walls and is similar to the aquarium at Trader Dicks in size. No Tiks to speak of though! The Fireside Lounge was worth a visit and had the cool traditional circular fire pit with water feature for us to all sit around and chill at. It seemed like every 50 feet there was another bar.

Here is the website to the company that provides the tiki, volcano and shark mugs for the drinks at the Fish Bar:

Next time we will be staying at the Peppermill and cabbing it over to Trader Dick's. Pictures to follow soon!
