I just received my copy of Pacific Encounters: Art & Divinity in Polynesia 1760-1860 from Amazon. What a great reference book! Plenty of history and very nice images of artifacts and period documentation. This book was made as a companion to the exhibit, so from past experiences, this exhibit must be awesome. I envy all able to see it. Virani, thanks for providing the Amazon link. |
