Hi also all! I posted a thread, but I'm introducing myself here too because... well why not!

A brief tale of my tiki-awakening! I found the magic that is Martin Denny and Robert Drasnin during the long cold winter here in Vancouver last year quite by accident. It got me through the chill, but also inspired me, and now my apartment looks like this! (Pic attached.)

I've always loved tropical things, tiki, sun, sand, palms and music, but I never knew how extensively this passion could run until I got into the music and decided to find out what inspired it! In real life I work as a graphic designer at a multimedia company; in my head, I'm a surfer living on Maui in a tiki hut that's got an incredible bar, and which of course is always open. :wink:

I look forward to getting to know tiki central and its inhabitants! (That means you!!)
