Long weekend, but very short on work...

I did a little on chair #3...
And I did a little on drum #2...
But not much on either one in a grand or noteworthy scale.

I got all rested up for a couple days and went over to Babalu's studio to do some more clay work today. I found out that last week I wasn't banned from the mug makers' gatherings at Babalu's after all! However, after Babalu told Bowana and I that we had to have our lunch bratwurst on healthy wheat bread because BillyTheCrud ate all the buns the day before, Bowana and I immediately voted Billy out and banned him from the mug group. However, things changed in my mind a little later when I actually tried the healthy wheat bread and liked it better than the brat on the hot dog bun. I called another vote and Billy was voted back in. It wasn't unamimous, but he's still back in. I think next time we'll try to vote Cammo out. I'll see what Billy thinks, since he's a fully reinstated member now.
Anyway, between stabbing my friends in the back, talking shit about them, and stealing Bowana's ideas, I worked on: ** Mug #3, The San Diego Tiki Factory 2nd Anniversary Commemorative Ceramic Tiki Mug, Produced by the San Diego Tiki Factory and Hand Sculpted by Buzzy in an extremely Limited Edition of 1 ** (that's the official name for this piece)

I started out with the idea of this limited edition bling resin pendant that I made for the anniversary, which was last May:

Since the mug was to mark the same event as the necklaces, I figured it should be a matching set, so I tried to place the pendant on the mug.
So imagine you're at a tiki event, you have your your Tiki Guy costume on, and you top it off with a pendant and this matching mug:

The chain took a while to do.
Wood grain in between.

I'm thinking the white background (like a Tikibob )with the yellow gold chain around it and brown wood color beyond. Just can't decide whether the tiki should be darker than the background, or vice versa
The chain frames the text on the back:

On the bottom, it says something about 2006-2008 and is signed.
If you are wearing the pendant, drinking from the mug, and someone makes fun of you for "matching." You can then stab them with the matching airport security safe combat tiki knife:

Now that makes an ensemble! All I need now is friend who does tshirts...

Did the Couger lady get you back to her house after Oasis?

Hey Tony! Welcome to the hood... I was out of contention after she learned you were the cover star on a magazine. Upstaged by the big guns again! Drat!
I hope she didn't end up missing, because this is the last known photo showing her whereabouts:

Doesn't look good for me. I'd better come up with an alibi. I was helping you and Freddie's Friend load up, remember? Then I was at Weinerschnitzel after that...

You're welcome to come by anytime, but that doesn't mean we'll actually BE THERE when you come by.

I'm going to show up and say "I gotta go" and then I'm going to leave! Try and vote me out now!

Hey Cam, Babs, and Buzzy.....Are you going to the Beach Chop tomorrow?

There's too many rules at the beach now. I hope everthing there eventually becomes illegal and the beaches become totally empty so we can fire all the lifeguards, cops, and park workers to save money for a new Charger Stadium. Go LT!

Nice pictures there Freddie! Everything you're doing in those shots is now illegal on San Diego beaches.

yo guys are killin my inner child!

I just checked, and that's only a misdemeanor crime on the beaches of San Diego. It's the same fine ($274), as burning old wood with nails in the fire ring, also a misdemeanor.

To save the environment, we need to burn new wood without nails on it! Fresh trees for the fire!
Buzzy Out!
