Aloha, all!

Okay -- here are the tropical fruits of my new photo-session -- starting at the entrance area in the rooms' South-East corner and basically moving clockwise from there...

Enjoy!

That Chinese-lantern style light-blue hanging lamp is one of the many new additions to the Cove in recent months/weeks/days.

And, yes, that IS a COMPLETELY (and deliberately) out-of-place Tweety Bird you see affixed to the upper-right corner of the door. It pleased me to perversely include a totally inappropriate WTF element in my otherwise poli"tiki"ally correct lounge! So -- call me weird. Ya wouldn't be the FIRST!

Notice the new green mini-spot I added just behind the blue Caliente tropics night-light illuminating the grinning face of a tiki that got completely lost in the shadows before?

I'm really enjoyin' the recent addition of this red-glowing tiki wall-mask! (Would ya believe I nabbed that sucker at OSH!? Just shows -- you can find tiki almost anywhere if ya keep yer peepers peeled!)

Just for this photo I got a little pin-spot to illuminate Tretchikov's "creepy blue-skinned Chinese girl". (Have you ever noticed that that's almost ALWAYS the way that painting is described?)

Though hard to spot amidst all the other clutter, there's a new set of thatch n' tapa bamboo wind-chimes here and a new hanging glass lamp as well.

That's a new swag lamp (with chain) hangin' from the ever-starry ceiling!

Beneath all those hibiscus blooms are three beautiful white porcelain nudes, only two of which are barely (pun intended!) visible in this pic. And I've hesitated posting any pic closer than this because one of 'em is being particularly naughty ('Nuff said!), and I'll probably catch some kinda flak for it! Why are some folks on this site surprisingly prudish? Ya'd think the tiki-vibe, by its very natural nature, would sorta cancel out that kind of closed-minded attitude, wouldn't you? But I guess ya just never know!

And the two lovely metal signs I just got from my dear friends at Mainlanders (aka Tropical Tikis, aka Culbertson Imports --c'mon guys, pick ONE name!) make a very pleasing addition to the shoreline of the Cove, along with the new orchid lights!

Naturally, I'm pleased as Planter's Punch re. the proud new addition of my peacock chair -- a throne fit for King Kamehameha himself!

Yep, that IS Bali Hai's infamous Goof now crowning my Big Kahuna fountain -- thanks to Holden, Squid, and Tiki Farm!

That bottle of Santiago Bay West Indies Rum proudly sports a red devil-head bottle-stopper (topper?) courtesy of me pirate-pal Thor as a tribute to all his wonderful new rum paintings! Also, underneath the illuminated Ku, is a vintage outrigger model-kit I got on eBay which, once assembled, will eventually hang from the ceiling. I mean, I'd love to have a full-size one like so many classic Poly-Pop restaurants, but in THIS lil' place? Good luck!

I enjoy how the glowing black-lit crab here seems to be about to attack the kool pendant I got at Oasis from my pal Tiki-Al!

MAN I wish there was a way to have the lighting come out just as it is in this photo WITHOUT my moving waterfall picture being WAY OVEREXPOSED!

Oh well, I guess ya can't always get whatcha want! (Haven't I heard that line in a SONG somewhere???)

Okay -- well, th-th-th-that's all, folks!

Cheers & Mahalos :drink: :tiki:
