Yes, thanks for posting this. I plan to send it to a couple friends who'll appreciate Metheny's opinion and writing. I can remember exactly where I was when I first heard Kenny G's rape of Wonderful World: Drivin' south across the First Ave South Bridge in Seattle. I sorta froze in horror and disgust and shock and had an inclination to rip the radio outta the truck and hurl it over the edge of the bridge. |
