Thanks Craig, I used one wiped on coat of Minwax water based stain "coffee" him and then sanded lightly with fine sandpaper.
In the past I have used ebony stain without stirring it, after the pigments have settled in the bottom of the can. I think it gave
these two a nice weathered look. I hope this helps.
