I sometimes do a small color study. Do it on the computer and you can changes colors easily. Remember you the teaches of Tim Hildebrandt - warm light source means cool shadows. Go ahead and warm up the sand closer to the fire area. Oranges and lighter to dark yellows. Save the light shades for the fire. The fire will be the light souse so it's gotta be the brightest thing in the painting. Looking good!
