Cafe Mambo in Swansea has some tiki reference and do some mean drinks, downstairs is quiet chilled some tiki paintings never seen any mugs being used though but cool place, later in the evening it gets a bit wilder: not a tiki place full stop but close too and worth a visit if your in that neck of the woods. Cardiff has a the Hawaiian http://www.thehawaiian.co.uk take a look it is a wild place like hawaii meet 18/30 i was there when i didnt now tiki many moons ago enjoyed it but cant give a current on it i'm afraid. Not been into Cardiff in a while will take a look and update if anything has changed - is there nothing in Bristol I'll ask tommorow going over the bridge to meet a friend who owns a pub there i'll ask him? Cardiff would be agood place for a tiki bar if there werent so many other places to go its a great night out though - swansea dito but dont expect to much culture!! |
