I came across a Korean video for a song named 'Moai' by a performer named Seo Taiji. The music isn't exotica, but more in the Asian/Pop vein, but the video does feature some good footage filmed on Easter Island. The second half of the footage was filmed at some non-Easter Island area .... but do watch until the very end, for a pretty cool 'Chariot of the Gods' type ending.

Soai Taiji is a major Korean performer, a cultural icon - Wikipedia says he is as popular in Korea as Michael Jackson was in the U.S. during the 80's. A couple of weeks ago he performed a concert at the World-Cup stadium in Seoul, backed by a 65 piece orchestra.

Here is Taiji performing the 'Moai' song live on stage for a big television special. The set features some giant Moai heads - it is more fun to watch if you think the audience is cheering for the Moai.
