Tim you need to build that trough in the back of the bar top.
That will catch any spills. And hold stuff.
Plus keep things from rolling off of the bar.
Just mount a piece of 6 inch pine under the bar top and frame with
1 x 1 inch pine.
Burn, stain, coat.
