Another small thing: Napkin rings. I see interesting sets in junk shops all the time, real cheap. A napkin ring set is the sort of object that seems like a good idea when purchased (or given as a gift) but is rarely, if ever, used (like chafing dishes, fondue pots, dental floss...). Collect 'em with 3 other people and you can all share sets of 4.
