LOL-OOOOh! liking that velvet kit! it looks sooo professional!
and thanks for the scoop on the paint-by-numbers museum! They had a show last year (dunno where) where artists were each given a paint by number and got to do their thing....missed out on that one! Thanks so much for liking the work and sharing your home with a few of my babies! If you want anymore just holler! They multiply like rabbits!
As for the matting/mounting question...
i usually just buy some matting/papyrus/bamboo thatching-spray mount it to a pre-cut size of illustration board-or even foamcore(this is for the papyrus/thatching-the regular matting is thick enough-cut it to size-get that puffy 2-sided acid free tape-apply it to the back of the drawing-balance it OVER the mat before applying-then slowly lower it onto the mat-press down-do one corner first and work outward while you press it down-so you won't get creases or buckles... TADA! now put your (cleaned both sides) glass in and the mounted drawing after that-and secure the drawing/mat/glass from the back! DONE!
hi-falootin?
who uses that word anymore?

Dood - Thanks for the scoop on the mounting!

Hi-Falootin - I'm bringing Hillbilly back. I'll be the Bosko of this new movement; I'm gunna start making Jed Clampett mugs and Cement Pond scorpion bowls. And each will have a signature drink like "Black Gold" and "Texas Tea". Maybe I can get Squid to sculpt me up a "Granny's Shrunkin Head" bowl/mug/thing and fill it with a "Critter Cocktail". And Jeff Berry can write a book - we'll call it "Hooch Hunt". And then... well, maybe not.

BTW - PM'd ya.
