Then along came "The Betty Pages" fanzine in the early 90s or so and I was hooked. It's wonderful that from a tiny fandom grew such a following endeared to its oblivious creator, and better that Bettie finally started receiving royalties from it all in the last decade or so of her life - especially since up til around '94 she had no idea how much she influenced people. A generous and kind person. She'll be sadly missed.
