I got email about the remakes and they say

All mugs will be clearly marked Trader Vic's by Tiki Farm copyright 2002 so as to distinguish them from the older, collectible mugs.
but hey that ain't gonna stop bad sellers. but on the bright side i can finally aford some sufferin cups
