I feels like I ended up carving this one 3 times in the end. The sculptural depth just wasn't happening, so I kept peeling back another layer or two til it got there. It's a pretty loose interpretation of an Austral Islands style figure (which is usually female), and might just be the first real full-body tiki I've done in beach stone so far?
