Today's sunset: And now, a brief, but comprehensive, overview of what I have been working on since my last post: I got my first clay commission recently, which consisted of a pair of salt and pepper shakers and a few other matching pieces. I made two sets just in case something happened during the firing and glazing The other part of the job was a set of napkin rings: Then I made and army of little guys to use as cheap pendants and glaze test pieces I took this sucker out of moth balls and finally put some finish on him: And, in an attempt to produce the most irreverent and unsellable tiki product possible, You can just barely see the cow hide in the rawhide soup in my bathtub: And lastly, right before sunset I was able to clean off a big log for the next project I've been called upon to do: It was a slow week workwise because I had a case of the stomach flu for a few days, but now it has passed and I'm ready to turn it up back up a notch. Now if I could only get the rain to stop! |
