Alooooooha!

I'm Mr Fab from the sound-collage/mashup/remix crew RIAA and some of our FREE! download albums have a tiki/surf/lounge influence. Not surprising considering I was born and raised in LA on a steady diet of Dr Demento, punk, hot rod cars and my older relatives backyard tiki parties.

Some of you may know us since we've gone over pretty well on these here intar-webs, and on stations like WFMU, but for you newbs: You like Tipsy, Ursula 1000, Fantastic Plastic Machine, that kinda scene? Well...we're probably more weird then that. I keep trying to just make a straight-ahead dance remix but it usually comes out all silly and psychedelic. Try:

Sounds For The Sun-Set First album (2005).

Tech-xotica!!

RIAA: Radical, Intense and Awesome!! Our most recent, and craziest.

Other albums explore Burt Bacharach, and Space Age/Moog. Hope ya dig!
