In times of economic or personal stress, people like to have things around them that make them feel better... I work in an independent bay area bookstore, and business is pretty good. Lots of people are buying copies of books that they used to have that they want to go back to, as well as the newest thriller/romance/whatever. In the end, I figure that, like most of us do, if it makes you happy, it's worth pursuing. Especially when we are spending time feeling down. Mahalo for listening. ~Zero
