Here are the results for the day. Not as much progress as I wanted but still I made a dent.

Applying the Lauhala matting to the front and sides.

Attaching the split bamboo on the front

Here is the bamboo veneer applied at the base.

Here is the crazy clamping required to bend the rattan around the bar top. This will have two layers of rattan when finished.
