Maybe I had too high of expectations about the Tiki Ti, because of posts on this site and because I loved the Mai Kai and love Trader Vic's Atlanta.

I did NOT love the Tiki Ti. I went there 2 weeks ago and was disappointed.

I was surprised that they use well brands. Very surprised. And the Ray's Mistake I had, was WEAK! I am a total lightweight, and that drink was barely more than drinking water.

The bartender at Trader Vic's Atlanta has it all over the Tiki Ti guys. Sorry. And I think everyone agrees about the Mai Kai (ah, Mecca!).

No more Tiki Ti for me. It's not worth battling the traffic when I'm in L.A.

I get MUCH better drinks making them myself from the Bum's book. Cheaper, too, while using quality ingredients.

Smoke, I expected it. It was prevalent, and nasty. But I did expect it.

Trader Vic's Atlanta, worth every penny of your drinking budget. And they got da ahi.
