We both thought that it tasted like gingerbread! Like nutmeg! I'm not sure...is a mai tai supposed to taste like that? Also, everyone was receiving their mai tais in those tall bamboo shaped glasses. My drink regulary comes in a 7oz rocks glass. The bartender used the same teensy glass for the Mister's mai tai! And charged him the same as everyone else. He was definately going crazy back there! He kept saying he couldn't get a moment to catch his breath and it was too much. So I think he just grabbed the same glass for the 2 different drinks.
