Many of you are familiar with the Preachers from Chicago Exotica events, the Hot Rod Hula Hop and many other appearances. The Madeira are also veterans of Exotica, the Hula Hop, as well as the Atomic Frolic and other events. As many of you know, Ivan of the Madeira is the former lead in the Space Cossacks. The appearance is only the second this year for the Madeira who's bandmembers are now scattered all over the US. The show will be held in the 'Enchanted' Beer Garden at Mike & Molly's (105 N. Market St., Champaign, IL 61820). The 10'6" wooden Tiki monolith "Korn-Tiki" (of Atomic Frolic fame) might make an appearance...as will DJs from the Surfabilly Freakout radio show. We might even get 'King Bachelor' Java to give tours of his penthouse for those who make the trip (that event is still in negoitations). Hope you can make it!
