What a horrible thing - puppy mills. I rescued a scotty from a puppy mill, she was one of their breeding dogs and we loved that dog so much. Unfortunately she died 2 summers ago. One thing about resue dogs, they sure do love their new people and you can tell they're grateful. These don't look like they don't get very big, I'll look up their temperment and see how they are with terriers (I still have a Westie). So I'll give you a maybe for now for one of the adult females. Are they getting spayed at the shelter before adoption? I'll check back with you.
