So I stopped in the local rum shop to pick up a bottle bottom shelf to mix drinks for some folks commin over that won't know the difference and to my SHOCK the ol' standby Cruzan had jumped from 9.99 to 16.99 a bottle!!!!

When I questioned the guy behind the counter he told me it wasnt them but Cruzan figured if Bacardi was getting those prices so should they.

Anyone else hear of this happening???

My friends will be drinkin Conch Republic Dark tomarrow night...

The Single Barrel didn't go up but they are changing the bottle he told me.

About the Conch, I figure it has to be some blend of Cruzan, when I lived on St. Croix they were the only distiller in the USVI and I figure they make "Old Mill Rum" too.
