I concur, Ventura is not bad. I have some friends who scored a fixer upper for pretty cheap and turned it into a pretty cool home. Its got an ocean view and it overlooks downtown. They were stoked, but had to put in lots of time in the remodel. I always liked that whole stretch of coast from Ventura up through Santa Barbara. I wonder what Goletas like in price. I also have friend who is building his house in Costa Rica. It is slowly coming along because he does not live there full time and can only work on it during breaks in the school year. He Teaches. He got his property for next to nothing just outside of Dominical. Pretty cool if you can pull it off.
Speaking of cool housing and eclectic living how is King Kukuleles Apartments coming along?
