Mystery solved as what came first, the chicken or the egg: Michael Hall graciously replied to my queery: " Brad (my ocean oddities) partner and I copied our tiki from the Link Paola menu. I don't remember where we got the menu but there was a neighbor down the street from my parents (we carved tikis in the driveway of the house) who was a Paola. Art Paola, I think, and I recall he owned a car dealership in Pasadena or Glendale - or somewhere near by." So who is gonna look into the Paolas? :) |
