I believe that the nature of art is to provoke an emotional response (case in point: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:The_Scream.jpg ) It doesn't have to be beautiful or sweet all the time, but it should make you think and feel. I don't consider myself a creator of "high" art, but I do enjoy the fact that people might be responding to my creations with strong feelings. I'm very pleased and grateful to be a part of this art swap. I don't feel its something small or trivial to share the creative process with so many talented people. Thank you all.
