Yes and no. This represents squid making a silly cartoon at the Squidco World Headquarters Annex and Caffeinated Beverage Emporium (Starbucks). Babalu saw social commentary in it on my "other crafts" thread.

It was apparently in the back of my mind but that was not the intention of the cartoon. So I made a funny doodle and someone saw something deeper, which prompted a discussion. Everyone derives something different from every piece of art they see, tiki or not. Something that's "hard hitting" to me may be "eh, whatever" to someone else. That's the great thing about art AND music. One size does not fit all.
