Affordable California Living?? - Beyond Tiki

It's a similar climate, though it get's quite a bit colder in the winter and they get a fair amount of snow(which I don't mind at all). They have the full on outdoor living room on their back deck. The dry air is really nice, but jeez, the BUGS !!! Mosquitos, deer flies, hornets etc.. At times it is unbearable! How's the bug factor in the Palm Springs area? I'm hoping to put together a little Tiki selling trip in a couple of months. If I can get enough interest from the bay area and SoCal gang to make it possible, I hope to be able to make it out to the desert to do some exploring and see how we like it. I will make an official announcement on this subject in a couple of weeks, but any and all orders/inquiries are always welcome at any time.
