The boyfreind was Rick James. They stayed with us for two days & we had a blast. Rick was fresh back from Jamaica & had waist length dreads. We went to Seaworld and the only people there that recognized him were Japanese tourist girls(which was alright with him). I was playing with a local band at the time and shopping around for a new amp. I asked Rick if he had any recommendations & his reply was "you can't go wrong with Marshall"...dammed if he wasn't right.
