Quick break update

I did the episode 6 work:

To make it work out correct, each part of the pedestal is 2 5/16" tall on mine. The width of the center line circles was 4 5/8". My log circumference was about 9 inches less than the one he used.

I'm going to bypass video 7 and hollow out both ends at the same time.

Video 8: Base carving Definitely have to know your tools and ability to tackle this part effectively. There are some challenging parts to this...
Working on that now. It gets quicker the more times you do it. After about 4, I have the tooling and process down. Now its just about the repetition:

It takes about 6-8 minutes avg per hole now. the first couple took about 10-13 minutes each as I figured out the quickest and best order of carving it out.
